Macular Vision

NOW® Macular Vision features XanthoSight®, an ingredient consisting of lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin in ratios clinically tested and found to promote optimal eye health, visual performance, and cognitive function.* Carotenoids such as lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin, are concentrated in the macula, an area of the eye responsible for focus and color differentiation.* In the macula, these pigments act as a filter for cell-damaging blue light.* Meso-zeaxanthin is concentrated in the central region of the macula responsible for detailed central vision.
